CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Charleston Southern softball team is back at home this Tuesday as they try to end a season-long, eight-game losing streak against the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. The first pitch is at 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
The Bucs (9-16, 0-3 in conference) are trying to get back on track after a winless week that ended with a sweep at the hands of USC Upstate. In five games last week, they averaged one run per game.
On the other side, the Chanticleers (24-6, 1-2 in conference), a member of the Sunbelt Conference, just wrapped up their first conference series as well. Riley Zana, a junior, leads the team with a .368 average.
Kelley Green is the Head Coach in Conway, S.C. and is in 14
th year at the helm. Last year, her team went to the conference tournament for just the fourth time in school history. She tallied her 400
th win last May.
For Charleston Southern, pitching has been the main factor in victories this season.
