Opening Tip
• Charleston Southern looks to bounce back after a setback to Radford on the road Wednesday night. The Bucs took a lead into the midway break, but a strong second half from Radford proved to be the difference.
• The two sides saw each other twice a season ago, both times at the Buc Dome on back-to-back days. Longwood followed up a 64-58 win in the first contest with a 70-62 victory in a back-and-forth affair.Â
• Charleston Southern looks to break a four-game losing streak at the hands of the Lancers. The Bucs' last win over Longwood came in the 2018-19 campaign as CSU traveled to Willett Hall and came away with the 101-91 win.
•
Deontaye Buskey has found double figures in five of the last six games. The senior guard has started all 21 games for Charleston Southern this season, the only player to do that for Head Coach
Barclay Radebaugh's side.
• Longwood comes into the contest as the only unbeaten team left in Big South play. The Lancers have ran off nine-straight victories, a streak that was started back before Christmas.
• The Lancers have four guys averaging double-figures as Justin Hill leads the way with 13.4 points per game to go along with 4.2 rebounds per contest. His play in the Big South warrents a team-high as well at 17.1 ppg.
