ROCK HILL, S.C. – Charleston Southern men's basketball will look for its second Big South victory of the campaign as the Bucs travel to Rock Hill, S.C. to take on Winthrop. The contest will stand as the second time the two teams have seen each other, with the first meeting going the way of the Eagles, 70-65, at the Buc Dome. Tip for the second installment is set for 2:00 p.m. inside Winthrop Coliseum.

Opening Tip
• Charleston Southern looks to avoid a five-game losing streak at the hands of the Winthrop, as the Bucs have dropped five-straight to the Eagles three different times in the series. . The last CSU win came at in the Quarterfinals of the Big South Tournament back in 2019, where Charleston Southern led from start to finish.

• The two sides saw one another back in mid January, with Winthrop completing the comeback to outlast CSU for a 70-65 win at the Buc Dome. 
 
• Charleston Southern's lone Big South win came in front of the home fans, as CSU beat High Point in the closing seconds with a Tahlik Chavez trey with under five seconds to play.

• Claudell Harris Jr. led the way for the Bucs in the previous meeting, as the freshman dropped a then-career mark of 18 points to go along with seven boards.

• Winthrop comes into the contest winners of its last seven, including a win last time out over USC Upstate. Five of the seven wins have come by double-digits.

• Patrick Good led the way for the Eagles when the two teams met earlier in the year, as the sharpshooter was 6-7 from the field, including 4-5 from three, for 16 points to go along with eight rebounds.
