CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern men's basketball fell at the Buc Dome Wednesday night, as the Bulldogs used a strong shooting performance to capture the 85-66 win. The Bucs have now lost seven-straight with just three tilts remaining in the regular season.
SHOTS FALLING
Charleston Southern (5-21, 1-12 Big South) saw a positive shooting night, finishing the first half at a 48% clip. The Bucs found themselves trailing by 11 after the first frame but took a 13-27 line from the field into the midway break.

UNC Asheville (15-11, 7-6 Big South) answered the call in that frame, matching Charleston Southern's 48% clip from the field but saw nine more attempts from the stripe than the home team, converting 14 of 17 while CSU was 5-8 from the line.
BUSKEY SHINES
Deontaye Buskey led the way for the Buccaneers, finishing with a team-high 21 points. The performance marks the highest offensive output the senior has had this season. Buskey found success in more than just the scoring column, finishing with three dimes, three steals and two blocks.

FOUL TROUBLE
Charleston Southern had to manage multiple starters in foul trouble.
Taje' Kelly picked up his fifth foul with just under six to play, as
Sadarius Bowser and
Kalib Clinton each had four and
Cheikh Faye,
Sean Price and
Tahlik Chavez had three.

Drew Pember's night came to a close early as well with the Bulldog's big man picking up his fifth with under two to play. Pember had a big night nonetheless, finishing with 30 points and seven boards, including 10-11 from the free throw line.
UP NEXT
The Bucs' next affair will take place back in the Buc Dome, as Charleston Southern welcomes USC Upstate to see the Spartans for the second time in the campaign. The first meeting between the two sides saw USC Upstate best the Bucs 70-57 back in January. The rematch is set for a 5:30 p.m. tip Saturday, February 19.
