Opening Tip
• Charleston Southern is looking to get back on track after falling to USC Upstate on the road over the weekend. The Bucs topped High Point in their last Big South game at the Buc Dome in front of the home fans.
• The two sides saw each other just once a season ago, with the lone meeting coming in the last regular season contest for both teams. The two teams played only one of the two scheduled contests as Charleston Southern outlasted the Blue Hose 78-77 in overtime.
• Charleston Southern looks to make it eight of the last nine against the Blue Hose. The last time Presbyterian left Charleston with a win was in the 2017-18 campaign.
•
Tahlik Chavez came up big for the Bucs last time out, finishing with a career-high 18 points to go along with six rebounds and two dimes. Chavez has produced double-figures in five of his last six games.
• Presbyterian has lost its five Big South contests by a total of 25 points, including a one-point loss to Longwood and a two-point loss to Winthrop in the last two contests.
• Presbyterian has gotten exceptional play from Rayshon Harrison, as the sophomore guard comes into the tilt averaging 17.5 points per game and four rebounds per game.
