CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern men's basketball will look to get in the win column on the Big South side of things as it returns home to the Buc Dome to take on conference foe Winthrop. Tip is set for 5:30 p.m. in front of the home faithful.

•Charleston Southern will be looking for its first Big South win on the campaign.

•The season series went in favor of the Eagles a season ago, with Winthrop winning both of the back-to-back contests in the special conference format. Each one of the tilts were played at the Buc Dome.

•Charleston Southern returns home for the second time in the conference setting this season as they welcome Winthrop to the Buc Dome. The last time the Bucs topped Winthrop came in the 2018-19 campaign. The Bucs upset No. 3-seeded Winthrop in the Quarterfinals of the Big South Tournament that game after never trailing in the contest

• Tahlik Chavez had a career night on the road at Campbell last time out. The transfer guard matched his career mark in points with 17 points. The performance was his best output in a Bucs uniform.

•Winthrop is coming off a thrilling win over UNC Asheville Thursday night. The Bulldogs took Winthrop to overtime, but the Eagles were able to hold on for the victory to start the Big South slate at 2-0.
