• Both teams will be looking for their first Big South win on the campaign
• The season series went in favor of the Camels a season ago, with Campbell winning both of the back-to-back contests in the special conference format. Each one of the tilts were played in Buies Creek, N.C.
• Charleston Southern hits the road for the second time in the conference setting this season as they travel across state lines to Buies Creek, North Carolina to take on Campbell. The last time the Bucs topped Campbell away from Buccaneer Fieldhouse came in the 2019-20 campaign.

Cheikh Faye had a career night on the road at UNC Asheville last time out. The transfer forward had a career-high 19 points and was one rebound shy of a double-double as well. Faye has continuted to improve his numbers throughout his first campaign with the Bucs.
• Campbell is coming off a heartbreak loss on the road at Winthrop last time out. A last-second turnaround jumper spelled the demise of the Camels. Campbell has fallen to 0-2 to start the Big South for the third straight season.
• Campbell comes into the contest with four Camels averaging double-figures. Two of the four averaging double figures have started all 13 games for Campbell, while the remaining two have double digit starts.
