CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Charleston Southern softball team will look to extend their four-game win streak as they will play five games this weekend in Longwood, Florida. Their schedule is as follows:
- Friday, March 6
- vs. Long Island University | 1:30 p.m.
- vs. Cleveland State | 4 p.m.
- Saturday, March 7
- vs. Saint Louis | 11:00Â a.m.
- vs. Florida State | 1:30 p.m.
- Sunday, March 8
- vs. North Carolina A&T | 11:00Â a.m.
The Buccaneers currently have a pair of pitchers withÂ
Annah Junge (1.84) and
Alyssa Heinrich (2.07) both ranking in the top ten in the Big South Conference in ERA.
Holly Clarke also leads the conference in saves with two. Junge is coming off of a record-breaking weekend and being named Big South Pitcher of the Week after boasting a .37 ERA in four appearances, garnering three wins. The team will head into the weekend 7-7 overall..Â
The marquee game this weekend with be against the 2018 National Champion, Florida State Semioles. The Bucs have only met the Noles once in 2014 where FSU took the game by a final score of 8-2 in Tallahassee, Fla.Â
