ATHENS, Ga. - CSU Head Coach Barclay Radebaugh's thoughts on
tonights 70-55 loss to Georgia:
Charleston Southern Head Coach Barclay
Radebaugh
On his team's play…
"I thought in the second half, we saw our team. We were able to
fix our defenses and were able to move the ball around. In the
first half, I thought we shot the ball too quick and it's bad when
you give a team like that the opportunity to get the ball in the
open floor. When the shot goes in, that's fine. If it doesn't go
in, you repeatedly give them the ball on fast breaks and don't
allow yourselves to break their defense down. In the second half,
we were much more controlled with the ball and much more deliberate
with our attack and we were able to win the second half by
six."
On the execution of Charleston Southern…
"I think we executed in the first half, but we didn't give
ourselves enough time to execute. We made one pass and then the
shot was in the air and we just can't do that. Our team wants to do
so well so badly that sometimes we get ahead of ourselves a little
bit and that's something that we have to correct before Friday
night."
Charleston Southern senior guard Jamarco

On CSU's play tonight…
"We got off to a bad start tonight. We fought back in the second
half and tried to get back into the game. We can get definitely
better from this."
On the team's execution…
"It comes down to making smart plays. Execution was very much
the story in the second half. We made smarter passes and made
smarter shots and it showed in the second half."
