Mason Levasseur

Mason Levasseur joined Charleston Southern University as a defensive graduate assistant in the spring of 2026. The 2026 season will mark his first year with the Buccaneers.

Levasseur arrives in Charleston after previously serving as a student recruiting assistant at Florida State University while pursuing his master’s degree in athletic coaching. Prior to his time at Florida State, he was a three-year starting linebacker and team captain at Baldwin Wallace University. During his playing career, he established himself as a leader within the program both on and off the field.

Originally from Panama City, Levasseur attended South Walton High School where he was a multi-sport athlete competing in football, lacrosse, and wrestling. He graduated from Baldwin Wallace with a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science along with a minor in biology. Currently, he is nearing the completion of his master’s degree in athletic coaching from Florida State.
