Marcos Moreira joined the Buccaneers in August of 2026 as a PT Athletic Facilities/Events Assistant. He joined the department after a one-year stint at the University of Northern Colorado.
During his time with the Bears he served in the role of Facilities and Events Coordinator beginning in August 2025. Moreira worked as the primary facility/event manager for seven different programs and the secondary for the majority of their other sports. He oversaw the scheduling and calendar for each of his assigned teams ensuring alignment with the facility's availability. Prior to that, he worked as a facilities and operations intern, in a full-time capacity, at Coastal Carolina from August 2024 through June 2025 working with all 19 sports at the school.
He has gained experienced in a variety of event support and gameday operations roles for championship and bowl game events as well. These have included the 2026 Big Sky Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Championships, 2025 Pop-Tarts Bowl, 2025 Cheez-It Citrus Bowl, 2025 NCAA Men's College World Series Conway Regional, 2025 MLS Next Pro Matches, 2025 Big Sky Volleyball Championships, 2025 WNIT, 2024 ESPN Myrtle Beach Bowl and the 2024 ESPN Myrtle Beach Invitational.
He graduated from the Coastal Carolain Univeristy in May of 2025 with his Bachelor's of Science in Recreation and Sport Management. He completed his Master of Science in Sports Administration with a perfect 4.0 GPA in 2026, earning Summa Cum Laude honors. Moreira is originally from Freehold, New Jersey.
