STEVENSON, MYA 2026

Mya Stevenson

Mya Stevenson was hired by Head Coach Christi Musser in July of 2024 as an assistant softball coach and will have the 2026 season mark her second year with the Buccaneers. She spent the 2024 season at Abilene Christian as a graduate assistant.

In 2025, she helped to lead the Charleston Southern offense to one of their best seasons in the decade. They finished the year with an on base percentage of .335, 57 stolen bases, 53 doubles and a batting average of .270 with each of them ranking inside the top ten in school history for those categories.

There were five All-Conference selections including a pair of First-Team honorees in Carsten Sandvig and Charlee Yourman that she helped lead. Additionally, Weslin Jones and Jordyn Dimond were chosen to the Second-Team and Honorable Mention squads. Blakely Kinsgmore rounded out the group with her nod to the All-Academic Team.

Prior to her time at Abilene Christian, Stevenson was a standout at Marshall University and Ole Miss, as she hit 71 career home runs and was the NCAA's active career home run leader in 2023.

In her four years at Marshall, she landed on the All-Conference list three times and was an NFCA Third-Team All-American recipient in 2022, where she hit 19 home runs for the season and broke the Marshall all-time home run record with 59. In her one season at Ole Miss, Stevenson hit 12 home runs and helped the Rebels reach an NCAA Regional.

Stevenson is a native of Mesquite, Texas and graduated from Marshall with a degree in Journalism.
