2026 at Charleston Southern: Named to D1Baseball's List of the Top 50 First Basemen in the country following the first six week seasons of the year with him ranking at #43.
2025 at Charleston Southern: Selected to the Big South All-Tournament Team ... Voted Big South Preseason All-Conference by league head coaches ... Named as the Preseason All-Conference first baseman for the Big South Conference by Perfect Game College Baseball ... Ranked tied for seventh in the league in RBIs on the year wtih 60 which ranks as the second-most in a season in school history ... Broke into the school's all-time top 25 for career stats in batting average, at bats, hits home runs, doubles, triples, runs, RBIs, walks, total bases, slugging %, on base %, putouts and hit by pitches ... Played and started in 51 games as the primary first baseman for the Buccaneers ... Ended the year with a batting average of .289, slugging % of .461 and on base % of .406 ... Scored 48 runs for ninth-most in school history, was hit by 17 pitches for the third-most in program history and had six sacrifice flies for second-most in team history ... Helped power the Bucs to one of the best seasons in school history with them finishing the year with the second-most wins in a single season ... Contributed to the team breaking the single-season school records for team home runs, RBIs, runs scored, walks, hit by pitches, slugging percentage and on base percentage.
2024 at Charleston Southern: Named Second-Team All-Conference ... Ranked as the #44 1B in NCAA D1 on D1Baseball Player Rankings (3/25) ... Was the only player to play in all 54 games on the year and made 51 starts ... Was one of the top offensive players not just for Charleston Southern but in the Big South ... Slashed .351/.581/.457 with his batting average second on the team (6th in Big South, 178th nationally) while his slugging (8th in Big South) and on base (3rd in Big South) percentages each led the team ... This was one of the top seasons in program history at the plate with his batting average tying for 23rd, slugging ranked at 6th and on base came in at 3rd ... Collected 67 hits total (2nd on CSU) with 14 doubles (2nd on CSU) and 10 home runs (T1st on CSU) on the year for 111 total bases (1st on CSU), leading the team in total bases and tying for 11th in program history... His home run total ranks tied for 11th in a single season in CSU history while his doubles tied for 18th ... Finished the year with 46 RBIs (tied for 4th most in a single season at CSU) and 36 runs scored ... Lead the team in walks with 23 and tied for the team-high in hit by pitches with 15 which is tied for 5th most in a single season in program history ... 2023 at Charleston Southern: Named Big South Co-Freshman of the Week on March 20 after helping the team to a perfect 5-0 week that saw the team defeat Kansas twice and sweep a three-game series against UNC Asheville ... Saw action in 44 games and started in 31 as the team's primary 1st baseman ... Held a .261 average with a .328 on base average and slugged .462 on the year ... Collected 31 hits while having three doubles and seven home runs, the most on the team ... Led CSU in RBIs with 33 on the year and scored 18 runs ... Drew nine walks and four hit by pitches ... Hit two home runs in the series opener against UNC Asheville (3/17), the only CSU player to have multiple in one game during the year ... Set his career-high in RBIs in the season finale at Gardner-Webb (5/20) with five.
High School: A power hitting left-handed from the state of Washington, and former Gonzaga commit ... Attended Issaquah High School ... Tuupo comes to CSU after spending two summers with NorCal Baseball where they won a Perfect Game WWBA West Coast Championship ... Tuupo was the #1 ranked 1B in WA according to Perfect Game and the King County "Player of the Year" with 12 doubles while batting .405 during his senior year ... He was named 1st Team All-State and 1st Team All-King County ...Son of James and LeAnn Tuupo and has two siblings, Myah Tuupo and Chance Boyce ... Uncle, Tupo Tuupo, played football at Washington State and in the NFL for the San Diego Chargers ... Another uncle, Stanford Tuupo, played football at the University of San Diego ... Became the first college baseball player in his family.
