Posted a season-best of five tackles on two occasions with the games being against The Citadel in the season opener and at Tennessee Tech ... 2022 at Albany State: Played in nine games during his sophomore year ... Forced one fumble on the year ... Ended the fall with 19 tackles including 10 tackles for loss which featured nine solo stops and 3.0 sacks.

2021 at Albany State: Saw time in eight contests as a true freshman ...  Had two forced fumbles credited to him at season's end ... Tallied one pass breakup throughout the fall ... Ended the year with 25 tackles as well as 5.5 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks.

High School: Originally from Valdosta, Georgia where he played at Valdosta High School under coaches Rush Prost and Allin Rodemaker ... School was featured on a Netflix docuseries "Titletown High"  ... During his senior year he ended the year with over 50 tackles, 10 sacks and 10 TFLs to go along with an interception and five forced fumbles ... Earned All-Region and All-State honors during his career ... Helped lead Valdosta to a pair of Georgia 6a quarterfinal appearances ... Was a three-sport athlete in high school where he was on the track & field and soccer teams ... Cousin, Michael Waikfield, was a member of the football team at UCF ... Also had an offer from Coastal Carolina.
