High School: Originally from Florence, South Carolina where he played at West Florence High School under Head Coach Chad Wilkes and position coach Ty Sutherland … Claimed All-Region accolades each of his four years while at the school and named the Pee Dee Defensive Lineman of the Year … Ended his senior year with 78 tackles with that total including 15 tackles for loss and two sacks to earn a roster spot for the North/South Shrine Bowl … Had 60 tackles as a junior to go with 12 tackles for loss and five sacks … In his sophomore year, he had 35 tackles and 10 tackles for loss, marking three consecutive years eclipsing double digits for TFLs … Had a career-high 10 tackles against Sumter in his career and added two for a loss … Helped lead the school to a region championship as a freshman …  Was also a member of the basketball and track & field teams … Also had offers from Newberry, North Greenville and Peru State.
