Charleston Southern University Athletics

Hunter Gross joined the Charleston Southern Athletic Training staff in the fall of 2017. Gross works primarily with the CSU Baseball team handling all of its athletic training needs.

During his time at CSU, Gross has created separate pre-practice stretches for pitchers and position players, as well as hitting-specific exercise programs to strengthen the body’s lower half.

Prior to coming to the Bucs, Gross worked as the athletic trainer for the 2017 12U National Baseball team working with the USA Baseball program. He also provided medical coverage for the RBI Cup, 14U Cup, and 16U Cups.

Gross also spent time working at Valdosta State from 2015-17 with the baseball, football, and softball programs.

Gross is a NATA member and has a certification with the American Heart Association BLS Provider.
