Addison Braswell

Coach Addison Braswell joined the Charleston Southern baseball staff ahead of the 2020 season, coming on board as the Volunteer Assistant Coach. Braswell will work with the outfielders and hitters. 
 
Most recently, Braswell served as the Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, FL for the 2018-2019 season. Under Braswell’s direction, infielder Brett Wisely was selected in the 15th round by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 2019 MLB Draft. 
 
Prior to his time at Gulf Coast State College, Braswell was an Assistant Coach at Pitt Community College for the 2017-2018 season. Under Braswell’s direction, the Pitt Community College offense was one of the most potent in all of NJCAA. The team had a .328 batting average, coupled with a .440 on-base percentage to go along with their 84 doubles and 62 homers as a team (8th nationally) in 42 games. 
 
Braswell also spent time as a Student Assistant Coach at NC State, serving as the Bullpen Coach while he was completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management, before completing his Master’s at California University of Pennsylvania in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration. 
 
Braswell prepped at Fuquay-Varina High School in Fuquay-Varina, NC under head coach Milton Senter, where he is still the school’s second all-time home run leader. Braswell went on to spend time as a player at NC State and Pitt Community College.
