• First career outing came against UNC Asheville (3/14), in which he threw a scoreless inning while striking out one
• Pitched two scoreless innings against Clemson (4/8), striking out one and allowing one hit
• Pitched a career-high three innings while striking out two in hisBest outing of the season against Presbyterian (5/15)

High School: In 2013, Smith recorded a .489 batting average and a 1.30 ERA...In 2014, he finished with a .390 batting average and 1.89 ERA.
