CHARLESTON, SC - The Charleston Southern softball team hosted Georgia Southern in a midweek match up on Tuesday evening. The Bucs fell to the Eagles 8-0.
Jordyn Dimond led things off for Charleston Southern in the first inning with a single through the right side but was left stranded.
Dimond recorded another single in the third inning.
Harper Schoeneweis later reached on a fielder's choice that resulted in the out of Dimond, but the Bucs were unable to bring Schoeneweis home.Â
In the fifth,
Lorenzza Marcacci singled to right field, but Charleston Southern was unable to convert.
Brenna Conley started in the circle for the Bucs with four innings of work, allowing five runs with one strikeout.
Mackenzie North also made an appearance throwing two innings allowing three runs.Â
UP NEXT
The Bucs will be back at home tomorrow, March 11, to take on App State at 5:00 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
