CHARLESTON – Aden Price claimed his fifth weekly award from the league office on Wednesday afternoon as he was named the Freshman of the Week.
 
This weekend, the Buccaneers competed at the Tryon Mid-Winter Invitational with Price winning the 200m and 400m dashes at the meet. He recorded a personal best in the 200m with a time of 21.30 and ran a 47.97 in the 400m. His time in the 200m ranks as the fourth-best in school history.
 
Earlier this winter, he claimed the Men's Track Athlete of the Week and Men's Freshman of the Week award on January 14. He followed it by earning Men's Track Athlete of the Week again on January 28 and Men's Freshman of the Week on February 11.
 
Charleston Southern has one meet remaining for this indoor season with it being the Big South Championships. They return to the same facility in Tyron, N.C. for it with the meet to be held from Friday, February 27 through Saturday, February 28.
