COLUMBIA, MISSOURI – Charleston Southern's Women's Cross Country team placed 20^th in the Women's 6K at the Gans Creek Challenge earlier this weekend.
 
Freya Buglass was the team's top finisher with a career best time of 21:56.6, claiming 66^th overall. Katrina Husby was close behind in 75^th with her time of 22:03.5.
 
Giada D'Agostino and Lucy McNamara were the third and fourth finishers for the Bucs with each recording a career best time with them being 23:14.1 and 23:19.4. Kallie Henderson and Charlize Antia went back-to-back with times of 24:10.3 and 24:12.8 with Henderson serving as the squad's fifth finisher to round out the team score. Brianna Adams closed out the day for the Bucs with her 24:27.7.
 
Charleston Southern will be back in action this weekend at the ECU Pirate Invitational in Greenville, North Carolina. The race is scheduled for the morning of Friday, October 3.
