Bucs Come Up Short Against Clemson at Home

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston Southern women's basketball team battled all four quarters, but ultimately fell, 78-52, to Clemson on Tuesday morning inside the Buc Dome.

Clemson built an early advantage and maintained control throughout, opening the game on a strong first-quarter run before holding off CSU's most productive stretch in the middle quarters. The Tigers led 20-7 after the opening period and carried a double-digit advantage into halftime.

Charleston Southern improved efficiency in the second and third quarters, scoring 14 points in the second and 16 in the third, but Clemson responded with a 24-point fourth quarter to secure the win.
