CHARLESTON, S.C. – Behind a dominant and career-best performance from junior guard Tyonna Bailey, the Charleston Southern women's basketball team rolled to an 83–62 home victory over Allen on Monday evening inside the Buc Dome. Bailey erupted for 24 points, 9 rebounds, 5 three-pointers, and 3 steals—all career highs—to lead the Buccaneers to their second win of the season.
 
Charleston Southern controlled the game the last three quarters, using efficient shooting, strong rebounding, and high-pressure defense to build separation. The Buccaneers shot nearly 50 percent from the floor, knocked down 13 threes, and held Allen to 33 percent shooting to close out the win.
 
Bailey delivered the best outing of her collegiate career across every major category, finishing with 24 points, 9 rebounds, 5 made threes, and 3 steals. She caught fire in the third, burying multiple threes during a CSU scoring surge that pushed the lead past 20. The junior scored in all three levels, attacked the glass, and set the tone defensively in one of the most complete individual performances of the season. The Big South Preseason All-Conference honoree showcased her full skillset tonight and proved why she's one of the most prolific players in the conference.

Team Stats
Charleston Southern turned in one of its most efficient offensive performances of the season, shooting 27-of-55 (49.1%) from the floor, 13-of-29 (44.8%) from three, and 16-of-21 at the line while pulling down 46 total rebounds, including nine on the offensive glass. The Buccaneers also received significant production from their bench with 41 points from their reserves. Allen finished 24-of-72 (33.3%) overall and 7-of-25 (28%) from beyond the arc, generating stretches of second-chance and transition scoring but unable to match CSU's efficiency. The Bucs outscored Allen in each of the final three quarters and built their lead to as many as 27 points late in the game.
 
Turning Point
Leading comfortably after three quarters of action, Charleston Southern broke the game open early in the fourth. Bailey drilled back-to-back threes during a Buccaneer run that ballooned the margin to 20+. CSU's defensive pressure then held Allen scoreless for nearly five minutes, allowing the Bucs to fully seize control.
