Tyonna Bailey, the Charleston Southern women's basketball team rolled to an 83–62 home victory over Allen on Monday evening inside the Buc Dome. Bailey erupted for 24 points, 9 rebounds, 5 three-pointers, and 3 steals—all career highs—to lead the Buccaneers to their second win of the season.
Charleston Southern controlled the game the last three quarters, using efficient shooting, strong rebounding, and high-pressure defense to build separation. The Buccaneers shot nearly 50 percent from the floor, knocked down 13 threes, and held Allen to 33 percent shooting to close out the win.
Bailey delivered the best outing of her collegiate career across every major category, finishing with 24 points, 9 rebounds, 5 made threes, and 3 steals. She caught fire in the third, burying multiple threes during a CSU scoring surge that pushed the lead past 20. The junior scored in all three levels, attacked the glass, and set the tone defensively in one of the most complete individual performances of the season. The Big South Preseason All-Conference honoree showcased her full skillset tonight and proved why she's one of the most prolific players in the conference.
