TORONTO – The Canadian Football League (CFL) officially announced the participants for the upcoming 2025 Combine Season. The Buccaneers' Devonte Turner is among the over 140 draft-eligible prospects that will be showcasing their skillset in from the league general managers, coaches and player personnel later this spring.
 
He was selected to participate in the CFL Invitational Combine which will be held in Waterloo on February 28. The top prospects from this event will then be invited back to the CFL Combine in Regina from March 21-23 to conclude the CFL Combine Season.
 
"Devonte Turner is a great ambassador for everything that we have done," said Defensive Coordinator Nick Reveiz. "I have absolutely no doubt that he will succeed on the field but also in life because of his commitment to excellence!"
 
Turner has spent the past four seasons with Charleston Southern as an interior defensive lineman after beginning his college career at Coffeyville CC in Kansas. He played in 23 career games with the Bucs racking up 17 total tackles fighting through some of the top offensive lines in the nation.
 
The CFL Global Draft and CFL Draft are scheduled to take place this year on April 29. The CFL Draft consists of eight rounds for a total of 72 draft slots in it and only includes Canadian-born players in the NCAA and eligible players from Canadian Universities while the CFL Global Draft is a two-round event. The Calgary Stampeders hold the first overall pick in each for this spring.
