CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern fell to The Citadel on Tuesday night on the road by a final score of 5-4 following a walk-off two RBI single down the left field line.

The Buccaneers were able to get ahead early off a leadoff home run to right field from Cade Conway. They were also able to score a pair with Dakota Miller's two-out, two RBI single in the third.

Zac Robinson got the start on the mound and forced the Bulldogs into double plays in each of the first two innings. They were able to plate a run across in the second as well as the third as they sent a solo homer down the left line. He went for the first four innings allowing a pair of runs in his first start of the season.

Charleston Southern's Chandler Tuupo hit a double to the right center gap that scored Alex Urlaub in the fifth and put the Bucs ahead at 4-2.

Parks Ledwell and Collin Kratzer came on in the middle innings. Ledwell was the first out of the pen and threw an inning with an unearned run crossing while he was on the mound. Collin Kratzer was next up and threw 3.1 innings before giving the ball to Nick Timpanelli with one out and runners on second and third. The Bulldogs' Matthew Lively was the first batter he saw and on the second pitch, he sent a ball down the third baseline to score both runners and give them the victory.

Dakota Miller led the team in hits as he finished with two on the day. Conway, Tuupo and Pringle each had one as well. Miller was responsible for a pair of RBIs on the day while Tuupo and Conway had one apiece.
