CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charleston Southern tennis took down third-seeded Gardner-Webb 4-0 in the Big South women's tennis semifinals Saturday afternoon, clinching their 12th trip to the Big South Championship in program history.

Charleston Southern got out to a 1-0 lead with wins on the last two doubles courts as Noa Boyd and Amila.Jusufbegovic joined Tiffany Pyritz and Zoe Cauthen to clinch the point.

The Buccaneers then made quick work of the singles portion, needed points at just three flights as the match was played to decision. Zoe Cauthen was the first to finish on court five with a quick 6-0, 6-0 sweep. Noa Boydwas not far behind at the third flight, bringing the Bucs within one point of a Championship Match birth with a 6-1, 6-2 victory.

Luiza Fullana would be the one to clinch the fourth and final point for the second-seeded Bucs, cruising to a 6-4, 6-0 decision to put the favorites one match away from back-to-back-to-back Big South Tournament titles.

The win secures a season sweep of the Runnin' Bulldogs and sets the stage for a rematch with top-seeded UNC Asheville Sunday with first serve coming at 3:00 p.m. from Marion Diehl Park in Charlotte, N.C.
