CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Charleston Southern tennis team continued their success on Tuesday, defeating the UAB Blazers by a 4-2 score at Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center. This was their sixth-straight win.

The Blazers (7-5) got things started with a win in the doubles round to take a 1-0 win. Tiffany Pyritz/Zoe Cauthen were the only tandem to win their round for the Bucs (8-5), taking a 6-3 victory. 

The Bucs were able to take the singles round, winning four of the five matches with the sixth one not being finished. Luiza Fullana got it started on court no. 1 with a 6-0 and 6-2 sweep. That was followed by a sweep from Kassandra Di Staulo, who won her rounds 6-3 and 7-5. 

Amila Jusufbegovic and Noa Boyd also won their rounds. Jusufbegovic won 6-2 and 7-6, while Boyd took hers in three sets, dropping the first set and winning the next two 6-4 and 7-5. Khyanna Singh was unable to finish her competition. 

This win over UAB was the first one in three tries for the Buccaneers dating back to 2005.
