Brenna Conley
5'3" Right Handed Pitcher

Kicking off the 2024 Charleston Southern signing class is Brenna Conley, a 5'3" Right-Handed Pitcher from Bainbridge, GA.  Brenna was the first 2024 commitment for Head Coach Christi Musser and will play an important role in helping to replace All Big South Pitcher Annah Junge.  Conley competes for Bainbridge High School as well as the Tampa Mustang organization.  Over the years, Brenna has racked up the high school awards by being named 1^st Team All Region 3 years in a row, while also bringing in MVP Awards in '20 and '21 and Defensive Player of the Year in 2020.  To top it all off, she was named the Regional Player of the Year in 2022 pitching 110 innings with 165 strikeouts.  Conley's strengths will be moving the ball all around the strike zone and keeping them off balance with her off-speed. 
 
Coach Christi's thoughts on Brenna:
"I have been excited about Brenna for a long time and couldn't be happier that she chose to be a Buc!  She is such a competitor on the mound and brings a variety of pitches that hitters have a very hard time squaring up the ball.  I absolutely love the way she changes speeds and goes right after hitters.  She will have an impact right away on our pitching staff, bringing a look that is different than the rest of our staff.  She is going to be an impact player for the Bucs!"

"Being from a small town, I wanted a "hometown feeling" wherever I decided to go.  Charleston Southern gives me that.  The coaches are great and focused on building a competitive team.  I am excited for the next 4 years, Go Bucs!"
