CHARLESTON, S.C. - Due to Hurricane Ian's potential impact to the Charleston region this week, Charleston Southern University will move to virtual learning on Thursday and Friday. Though the storm's path isn't currently projected to be a direct hit on the South Carolina coast, tropical storm conditions are expected. Most CSU offices will be closed for the safety of employees commuting on the roads, but the campus will not be closed.

The following athletic events have been canceled:

September 29 – Cross Country at (Home) CSU Challenge

The following athletic events have been rescheduled:

October 1 – Women's Soccer at Presbyterian (October 4 - 7 p.m.)

The following athletic events will continue as scheduled:

September 30 - Volleyball at Radford
October 1 – Volleyball at High Point
