CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern women's tennis is slated to hit the road for a Big South match with the Runnin' Bulldogs of Gardner-Webb. The affair is slated for a 3:00 p.m. start time Sunday, April 3 at the Webb Tennis Complex.
 
Charleston Southern has turned in a 1-1 record on the week after a 6-1 victory on the road at Presbyterian before a return trip home with to clash with Delaware went the way of the visitors. The Buccaneers will look to bounce back after the heartbreak loss Wednesday afternoon.
 
The Buccaneers have clashed with Gardner-Webb a total of 16 times, taking 15 of the 16 including a perfect 5-0 record away from the Holy City. The two programs saw each other twice a season ago with Charleston Southern winning 4-3 in the regular season and 4-2 in the Semifinals of the Big South Championships.
 
The Bucs have quite the streak going in the Big South, as Charleston Southern has turned in 14-straight Big South regular season matches including a perfect 5-0 line in the 2022 campaign. 
 
After the weekend affair with Gardner-Webb, Charleston Southern will play host to UNC Asheville Saturday, April 9, and Radford just 24 hours later Sunday, April 10 at the Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center to round out the Big South Regular Season. Both matches are slated for 1:00 p.m. start times.
