Box Score CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern women's tennis fell to Delaware Wednesday afternoon, 4-3, at the Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center.
The match started with Charleston Southern (11-5) clinching the doubles point after wins at flights two and three.
Tiffany Pyritz and
Zoe Cauthen handled doubles number two and
Amila Jusufbegovic and
Noa Boyd followed suit at three doubles.
Singles went the way of the Blue Hens as Delaware (14-4) won the final four singles decisions to clinch the match after trailing 3-0.
The Bucs return to action Sunday, April 3, as they are back on the road to take on Gardner-Webb in a Big South affair. The Bucs look to turn their focus back to the conference side of things, where they are perfect on the year. The match is slated for a 3:00 p.m. start in Boiling Springs, N.C.
