Charleston Southern tennis closes their four-match homestand from the Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center with Liberty and Samford fresh off a 2-0 weekend in which the Buccaneers started Big South play 1-0 with a 4-3 win.

Friday's match with Liberty is the first since the Flames became ASUN members in July 2019. CSU also owns the head-to-head series with the Flames 12-6 including a 6-1 record at home. In their last meeting the Flames finally snapped the Bucs' home streak with a 6-1 decision having lost their first six matches in Charleston.

Liberty enters Friday's match with an 8-2 record with their lone blemishes coming on the road at Florida Gulf Coast and South Florida. Liberty is fresh off a 5-2 win over William & Mary at home.

Saturday's meeting with Samford is the first in program history for the Buccaneers as the Bulldogs are the second Southern Conference member on the nonconference schedule joining Wofford. Samford currently sits at 7-6 overall and take on College of Charleston Friday prior to Saturday morning's affair.
