CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charleston Southern women's tennis fell 5-2 Saturday to Charlotte in nonconference action.

Michelle Schmitz and Zoe Cauthen grabbed a pair of three-set singles wins on courts four and five, but the early doubles point and singles wins on four courts powered the 49ers (15-4) to the win Saturday over Charleston Southern (3-6).

Cauthen and Schmitz's singles wins were the third on the season for both and the second-straight for Schmitz.

Charleston Southern returns to action Wednesday, March 24 as they host Campbell in a Big South match form the Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center.
