Saturday also marks the fourth-straight nonconference opponent for the Buccaneers after hosting Stetson and Liberty from the ASUN and Samford from the SoCon.

Freshman Khyanna Singh leads the Bucs with five singles wins and a 5-2 record while Luiza Fullana holds a 3-1 record with a pair of unfinished matches. Singh also owns a 5-2 doubles record alongside partner Madalina Man with four of those wins coming at the top flight. Tiffany Pyritz and Zoe Cauthen have also paired for a 5-2 record with all five wins at the second doubles flight.

Charlotte is led by a quartet of players with 10-or-more singles wins, most-notably a 13-3 record from Kaavya Sawhney with 11 victories between the third and fourth flights. Rocio Safont, Ruxi Schech and Emma Wilkins all have 10-plus singles wins with Shech holding a 9-2 mark at the top flight.

The 49ers enter the match with an impressive 14-4 record and perfect 11-0 at home. Charlotte's lone losses have come to ranked opponents – Duke, Wake Forest, North Carolina and Furman.

Saturday's match is the seventh all-time meeting and third in the Queen City. The teams have split the previous six iterations with a 2-2 mark in Charleston and 1-1 record in Charlotte. Charleston Southern returns home for a single match Wednesday, March 24 as they host Campbell before hitting the road once again across town to College of Charleston then a trip to the Commonwealth of Virginia for Big South battles with Longwood and Radford.
