CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern women's tennis hits the road for the first time in 2021 as they take on two longtime Palmetto foes in Wofford and Coastal Carolina Friday and Sunday.
Charleston Southern heads to Wofford in a makeup of a match that was supposed to open the season for the Bucs back on Jan. 18 in Charleston. CSU owns the series lead 10-5 against the Terriers thanks to their current six-match win streak dating back to 2010 winning five of the six matches by 6-1 or 7-0 scores.
The Bucs then close their weekend travel Sunday with former Big South rival and longtime foe Coastal Carolina. The Bucs and Chanticleers have faced off 35 times previously on the court with the Bucs taking five matches at home, five on the road and two during Big South postseason play.
Sunday's match is also a makeup of the Feb. 12 match that was postponed due to weather conditions.
Friday's match in Spartanburg is set for 1 p.m. and Sunday's match in Conway is slated for a 12 p.m. start.
