CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston Southern tennis team finished their weekend at the CofC Invitational with four doubles wins led by a 2-0 day from the duo of Anna Markvartova and
Femcke van Rensburg.
The tandem of Markvartova/van Rensburg began their day with a 6-3 decision over Jessie Mount and Iryna Vardanian from Coastal Carolina before capping their day perfect with another 6-3 margin over Eleanor Campbell and Catalina Medici from the host CofC.
Michelle Schmitz and Liz Willams collected a doubles win in the A1 flight taking down Georgia Southern's Paula Boixader and Paula Hijos 6-3 before falling in their finale by a 6-3 margin.
Tyler Kirk also finished 1-1 Sunday falling in her first match 6-1 before capping her weekend on a strong note taking down the Wofford duo of Brittney Wilbur and Alexandra Hildell by a 6-3 score.
