GREENVILLE, N.C. – Charleston Southern tennis junior
Tyler Kirk completed her weekend in style taking down Victoria Dixon from East Carolina for a single flight championship, highlighting the Bucs' stay at the ECU Invitational.
The win completed a 2-0 weekend for the junior giving her the first singles flight championship of the fall season as well as leading the charge for five-more wins Saturday.
The tandem of
Zoe Cauthen and
Tiffany Pyritz ended their weekend with a 7-6 (5) nail-biting victory in A Doubles while Kirk and
Anna Markvartova went 1-1 in B Doubles. Cauthen then followed with singles win in the Purple Singles flight making quick work with a 6-4, 6-3 decision.
Kirk's singles championship ends the fall season as the Bucs open their spring schedule Jan. 11 and 12 versus North Carolina and Elon.
