GREENVILLE, S.C. – Charleston Southern tennis senior
Liz Williams collected a trio of wins at the Furman Invitational to lead the Buccaneers.
Williams began her singles flight 2-0 with a hard-fought three set win then a quick two-set victory then paired up with
Tiffany Pyritz for a doubles win in the first flight.
Pyritz also collected a pair of wins as she collected a singles win to finish her weekend in a 6-1, 6-1 fashion.
Zoe Cauthen and
Femcke van Rensburg also picked up singles wins over the weekend with Cauthen taking down her foe from Wingate 6-2, 7-6 (2) in the first flight and
Femcke van Rensburg took a gut-check three-set win in flight two.
The Bucs are back in action one final time this fall as they head to East Carolina next weekend for the ECU Invitational.
