CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern tennis head coach
Anca Dumitrescu announced the signing of Khyanna Singh Thursday. Singh will enroll at Charleston Southern and join the program for the 2020-21 season.
A native of Queens Village, N.Y., Singh signs with CSU as one of the top-120 players nationally and has a top-10 rank in her home state of New York. Singh also ranks among the top-1900 in the ITF Junior circuit worldwide and among the top-300 of the USTA standings.
Singh recently made the quarterfinals round of the Eastern Super Six at World Gym tournament taking down two top-250 players in the Round of 32 and Round of 16 matches.
The CSU women's tennis program begins their spring season Jan. 11 when they take on North Carolina followed by a neutral site match with Elon Jan. 12 to round out the opening weekend.
