CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A day after taking three singles wins over Wofford, the Charleston Southern tennis team grabbed a pair of doubles victories and five singles wins from East Carolina at the Charlotte Invitational then doubled-down with seven more wins over Winthrop and Queens (N.C.)

Madalina Man continued her perfect weekend grabbing a win over Sibel Tanik with a pair of 6-3 wins, moving to 2-0 over the tournament. Man was joined in the win column by Luiza Fullana, Liz Williams, Tyler Kirk and Anna Markvartova.

Fullana took care of her opponent 6-4, 4-6, 10-7 in Flight D setting the table for wins by Williams (7-5, 6-0), Kirk (7-6, 2-6, 1-0) and Markvartova (6-2, 6-1) at Flights E, G and H.

Williams and Kirk then paired up for a doubles win at Flight D by a 6-3 margin and were joined by Tiffany Pyritz/Luiza Fullana's Flight B 7-6 victory.

In the afternoon matches, Man made it a perfect 3-0 weekend dispatching her Winthrop foe by a 6-3, 4-6, 10-2 margin in the Flight B singles and Fullana collected her second win in as many tries taking care of business with a 4-6, 6-3, 10-4 score.

Zoe Cauthen made it a 1-1 day in Flight A with a comeback 4-6, 7-5, 10-8 win while Michelle Schmitz also moved to 1-1 thanks to a quick 6-2, 6-2 victory. 

Femcke van Rensburg gave the Bucs their fifth and final singles win of the afternoon and 10th for the full day.

Man then teamed up with Fullana for a Flight A doubles 6-0 win and the duo of van Rensburg/Schmitz grabbed a 6-3 win for a pair of doubles victories and numbers 14 and 14 for the Bucs Saturday.
