Dotson paces CSU at Winthrop Adidas Invitational

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Charleston Southern senior Jessie Dotson delivered another strong performance to headline Saturday's action at the Winthrop Adidas Invitational.

Dotson finished in 51st place with a time of 20:37, making her the Bucs' top finisher for the second time in three events. CSU's senior leader led the way in a solid field that was won by Appalachian State, and also featured South Carolina, host, Winthrop, and USC Upstate.

A week after earning the best finish of her career, sophomore Kaitlyn Keene ran at 21:04.6 clip to finish 65th. Junior Hannah Palm crossed the finish line in 23:15.8, good for 96th place.

Freshmen Malaysia Reed and Emma Price also competed for assistant coach for distance and jumps Sirena Williams, and the Bucs.

CSU is back in action locally next Saturday at the Will Wilson Citadel Invitational. The meet will be held in Mt. Pleasant.
