Palm paces Bucs at Coastal Carolina Invitational

CONWAY, S.C. – Charleston Southern junior Hannah Palm raced to an 11th place finish to lead the Bucs at Friday's Coastal Carolina Invitational. CSU finished third as a team in the event, behind Coastal Carolina and UNC Wilmington.

Palm turned in a solid showing in the Bucs' opener at Columbia International last weekend, and narrowly topped teammate Jessie Dotson to lead the way in the season's second event. Palm finished in 20:16.64, while Dotson came in five spots behind in 20:35.14.

CSU sophomore Kaitlyn Keene built on a quality first race with a time of 20:49.25, good for a 20th place standing.

CSU and assistant coach for distance/jumps Sirena Williams are back in action next Saturday at the Winthrop/Adidas Invitational.
