Box Score CHARLESTON, S.C. – Cory Williamson's two-out single in the 10th inning broke a 10-10 tie and propelled North Carolina Central to a 12-10 win over Charleston Southern in 10 innings on Wednesday afternoon at CSU Ballpark.

Williamson's single tipped just off the glove of Bucs' diving centerfielder Brandon Burris to drive home Conrad Kovalcik and Ronald Thompson with the game's two winning runs.
The Buccaneers led 10-6 after a wild first four innings, but the Eagles' bullpen held CSU scoreless over their final six at-bats to set up the rally. The Buccaneers outhit NCCU, 15-14, but all of CSU's offensive damage and scoring came early.
CSU batted around and struck for seven runs in the fourth to build a 10-6 lead. Brandon Burris had two bunt singles and Nate Blanchard added another as the Bucs piled up six hits in the inning.
Chase Shelton's would-be double play ball took a bad hop and went off the shoulder of NCCU shortstop Trevor Theissen and into left center for a 2-run single to keep the big inning alive. Andrew Widell and Chris Singleton each had a sacrifice fly to drive in runs.
Six Eagles had a multi-hit game, led by three each from Williamson and Theissen. Three different players also had three RBI in the game for NCCU.
Junior Brandon Burris was 4-for-6 for the Bucs and scored twice. Shelton added a 3-for-6 day with a pair of RBI and a run scored.
Reliever Austin Weekley (LP, 1-1) came on to get out of a bases-loaded jam in the ninth, but took the loss in the 10th.
