CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern's Cody Austin was 4-for-4 and Alex Tomasovich broke a 27-year old CSU record with his 51st career double to lift CSU past Winthrop on Senior Night at CSU Ballpark, 10-2.

Charleston Southern reeled off eight first-inning runs and the Buccaneer seniors combined for 11 hits to take the series from Winthrop. CSU improves to 28-21 overall and 10-12 in Big South play. Winthrop falls to 22-29 and 12-11 in league play. CSU will go for the sweep tomorrow afternoon in the series finale at CSU Ballpark.
