CHARLESTON, S.C. - After a heavy-hitting weekend, the CSU
baseball team will look to take it's hot bats into midweek action.
First up for the Bucs is a road trip to Clemson, where they will
face the Tigers in a 6:30 p.m. contest on Tuesday. The team will
then return home for a 2 p.m. slate vs. Savannah State on Wednesday
at CSU Ballpark.

CLEMSON SERIES HISTORY
Charleston Southern will be searching for its first win versus
Clemson when they travel to Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Tuesday.
Although this will be just the fourth meeting between the two
schools in this millennium, the Tigers lead the overall series with
CSU 15-0.

The Buccaneers of Charleston Southern welcome the Tigers of
Savannah State back to CSU Ballpark for the second time this season
on Wednesday afternoon. The two teams have split their season

OFFENSE LEADS BUCS PAST GARDNER-WEBB
The CSU bats heated up over the weekend as the Bucs collected a
team batting average of .393 during the three-game weekend series.
They also had five doubles and five homeruns while collecting 12 or
more hits in each contest. CSU's team batting average is now .283,
which ranks them fourth in the Big South. In conference-only games,
Charleston Southern is hitting .320 as a team, which ranks them
second in the league.
HOMECOMING
Buccaneer pitching coach Adam Ward returns to his alma mater on
Tuesday as the Bucs travel to Clemson. Ward was a member of the
2007 and 2009 Super Regional teams at Clemson and also hit .375
during the 2008 campaign.
