Time is winding down before the Charleston Southern University
Buccaneers open the 2009 season against the University of Florida
Gators, in what has become the most-publicized game in program
history. Kick-off at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Fla.
is set for Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. EST.
Buccaneer fans can follow Saturday night's game in a variety of
ways. Fox Sports Net (Comcast channel 59 in North Charleston) will
televise the game nationally. Radio coverage will be provided by
WJNI-FM 106.3 in the Charleston area, with pregame coverage
beginning at 6:30 p.m. EST. Fans can also listen to the game free
of charge around the world on Teamline, and the Florida broadcast
will be available nationwide via satellite radio on XM channel 199
and Sirius Channel 215. Also, fans can follow the game

CSU is coming off of a 7-5 (3-2 Big South Conference) season,
while Florida finished 13-1 (7-1 Southeastern Conference) and won
the BCS National Championship, their third national title in school
history. The Bucs are receiving votes in The Sports Network FCS
Preseason poll, while the Gators are ranked No. 1 in nearly every
major FBS preseason poll.
