High Point enters the weekend red-hot after sweeps over Radford and Campbell and boast a 4-1 record. Despite the tough nonconference where they faced four nationally-ranked opponents, the Panthers sits at 8-8 overall having faced three top-10 teams (No. 2 Texas, No. 8 Wisconsin and No. 9 Pitt) and No. 21 Utah.
High Point is a skilled and experienced squad that currently leads the Big South in kills per set (13.47) and assists per set (12.73) while sitting second in hitting percentage (.215). Senior outside hitter Addison Kaderli enters the weekend just 6 kills from 1,000 in her career as she sits seventh on the program's all-time kills list. The Austin, Texas, native also sits fourth in career attacks with 3,676 to her credit. The senior has a chance to collect the milestone in front of CSU faithful when they hit the floor Saturday inside the Buc Dome. Her sixth kill Saturday would make Kaderli just the seventh player in program history to join the 1,000 club.
Senior defensive specialist Madison Martin sits 40 digs from moving into a tie for second on the program's all-time list, currently sitting on 1,721 donning a Buccaneer uniform. Martin set the single-season digs record her sophomore season thanks to 665 – 62 digs more than the previous record of 603.
