CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston Southern volleyball hit the courts for the first time of the 2018 fall camp on Wednesday afternoon. The Bucs have an aggressive preseason slate featuring three-a-day practice sessions most days leading up to their first exhibition of the preseason on August 17 against West Virginia State.

Head Coach Christy Mooberry returns for her sixth season at the helm of the Bucs and boasts a veteran squad that returns 11 players from last year's team. The returners include rising seniors Madison Martin, Addison Kaderli, and Hannah Western.

Rising juniors Logan Windsor, Naiomi Rivera, Brooke Monssen, Rachel Smith, Macey LaPorte, and Caitlyn Michalski also return to reprise key roles on the court in the upcoming 2018 season. CSU also welcomes back Madison Malloch, as well as newcomers Ashleigh Holweger, Caroline Demuth, and Alexa Lister to the roster in the 2018 season.

The Bucs will continue three-a-day practices through Saturday before taking an off day on Sunday. Practice picks back up Monday and will carry through the preseason leading up to the season opener in Cullowhee, N.C. at the Western Carolina Tournament hosted by WCU on August 24-25.
