CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern senior middle blocker Kylie Klein was honored on the CoSIDA Academic All-District 4 team this morning, as announced by CoSIDA board.
Klein holds a 3.98 GPA while studying Graphic Design at Charleston Southern. A Highlands Ranch, Colo. native, Klein finished her four-year career at CSU ranked fourth all-time with 415 career blocks.
This season, Klein led Charleston Southern with 2.15 kills per set and 237 total kills. She was second on the team in blocks per set (0.85) and total blocks (93). She was named to the Big South All-Academic Team for the second consecutive season.
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballot, with first- and second-team Academic All-America honorees to be announced in December.
The Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages and are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada.
The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and College Division. The College Division includes all NAIA, Canadian, two-year schools, and other affiliations.
