Charleston Southern seeks its first Big South win of the season when it hosts Gardner-Webb on Friday at the Buccaneer Field House. First serve between the Bucs and Runnin' Bulldogs is set for 7 p.m.

CSU (5-11, 0-2) is coming off a 3-1 defeat against High Point this past Saturday at the Buc Dome. The Bucs previously fell at Presbyterian 3-1 on Sept. 19. Charleston Southern will look avenge their previous loss against the Blue Hose when the teams meet again on Saturday at the Buc Dome at 3 p.m.

Junior libero Madison Martin continues to lead CSU defensively with 4.75 digs per set, while several players are contributing on the offensive side. Junior Addison Kaderli leads the current lineup in kills per set (2.19) and senior Kylie Klein is averaging 2.17 kills per set for the Bucs. Klein also leads CSU in hitting % (.297), while freshman Kalysia Bates is among the team leaders in kills (2.16) and hitting % (.259).

Gardner-Webb (7-8, 1-2) is coming off a thrilling 3-2 win over UNC Asheville on Tuesday night. The Runnin' Bulldogs won the first two sets before dropping the next two sets and eventually taking the final set to end UNC Asheville's comeback bid. Gardner-Webb is led offensively by Kaelyn Dyson with 2.33 kills per set. Emma Milstead leads the Runnin' Bulldogs defensively with 4.16 digs per set.

Presbyterian will hit the road to face Winthrop on Friday evening in Rock Hill, S.C. before traveling to play CSU on Saturday afternoon. The Blue Hose are coming off a heartbreaking 3-2 loss at Liberty this past Saturday. PC is led offensively by Erin Eulitz and Allie Wright, both of whom are averaging 2.66 kills per set. Daley Gosnell leads the defensive efforts for the Blue Hose with 5.08 digs per set.
